Lalit Modi the first Chairman of IPL (Indian Premier League), took to his social media to announce a “new beginning” with Bollywood actor Sushmita Sen. He called her his ‘better-half’, and fans have gone into frenzy ever since.

“Just back in london after a whirling global tour #maldives #sardinia with the families – not to mention my #betterhalf @sushmitasen47 – a new beginning a new life finally. Over the moon (sic),” Lalit Modi said in a tweet.

After fans asked him whether the two already tied the knot, he clarified, “Not married – just dating each other. That too it will happen one day.”

Lalit Modi had left India way back in 2010, after he faced investigations regarding tax evasions and money laundering. He has been in London ever since.

Meanwhile, Sushmitha Sen has 2 adopted children. She was last seen in a Bengali film in 2015. As she suffers from the Addison’s disease, she requires steroids lifelong to manage the same.
