Kamal Haasan’s Tribute To His Dear Friend Mohan Will Break Your Heart!

There is not one film of the Kamal and Crazy Mohan duo that would bore you. Beginning with Aboorva Sagodharargal up until Vasool Raja MBBS, their chemistry was a firecracker. It was a rare actor-dialogue writer combo but what’s more aching is the fact that we would never get to see this chemistry onscreen anymore in any new films. That’s all that there is – a treasure that must be preserved for generations to see and realise what an epitome of progressive humour is, what witty one-liner is and what punchy dialogues are.

Kamal’s message to his dear friend Mohan was the most awaited by the fans and it was so heartbreaking to read it.

“There are many virtues of my friend Crazy Mohan I have been jealous of and the primary one is the heart of a child he possessed. Crazy is not the right word to describe him as he was a Philosopher of Humour. The truth is he toned down his immense talents and projected himself as only a humorist so as to connect with the people. In many instances, he has proved that he is my third brother Mohana Haasan after Charu Haasan and Chandra Haasan. Today to pay back that love I along with his brother Balaji placed our hands on his forehead to bid goodbye to him. There is no end to friendship even if one is gone. Mohan’s humorous work will live on through his fans and I will also aid that. His is a beautiful joint family and there is no way to comfort them I pray that they gain strength to bear this irreparable loss.“
