“Like any child it was a heartbreaking moment because to me, as a child, my world ended like any child would feel when their parents split path. Yes, we were affected by their separation but not to a great extent. At times I would feel the void but it made me who I am today – tougher, stronger and can deal with the world better. I mean, I’ve experienced life through these phases.”
On Kamal Haasan entering politics:
“It was almost a heartbreak for me because looking at him from the professional aspect, he is my greatest inspiration. He is a legend. I understand that he had more serious decisions to make now but, I just couldn’t accept that at all. Not going to be able to watch him in new films broke my heart.”
