It is only common for onscreen costars to go through various dating rumours when their film releases. If the chemistry works onscreen, the audience and the media immediately consider them a reel-life couple as well. This is not true in most cases and even it is, the actors maintain a private life about the same. However, here’s a couple no one has seen onscreen yet and dating rumours are sparking.

It is none other than actors Rakul Preet Singh and Rana Daggubati. Rana and Rakul have been the best of friends for a very long time now and are a part of a mutual close friend gang. So, to Rakul these link-up rumours are just baseless. In a recent interview, Rakul was yet again asked the very same question to which she gave a fitting response.

She was asked “In the past, there have been several rumours linking you with Rana Daggubati. What happened to those?”

To which Rakul replied, “Oh My God! We are neighbours, and part of a close friend group with Lakshmi Manchu who is also my best friend. Rana is also one of my closest friends like that you know? He’s been a friend since I started my film journey.”

On the professional front, Rakul is awaiting the release of her next Bollywood film Marjaavaan alongside Sidharth Malhotra, Tara Sutaria and Riteish Deshmukh. She is also currently shooting for Indian 2 starring Kamal Haasan, Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth and Priya Bhavani Shankar in the lead. Meanwhile, Rana Daggubati is travelling back and forth to California and India completing his medical treatment. The actor has signed a bunch of films and an official announcement for the same is awaited.
