In a shocking turn of events, Tollywood movie’s cult film ‘Arjun Reddy’ which was supposed to be remade in Tamil as ‘Varmaa’ starring Dhruv Vikram in the lead, has been stalled and will not release anytime soon. Dhruv will still be the lead, however, Director Bala has been sacked and a new one will be hired. There has been no update with the lead actress and other supporting roles too.
In an official statement, E4 Entertainment, the producers of this film has released the official statement stating that they were not happy with the final product and will be reshooting entirely. They further added that it will be a June 2019 release too:
We wonder what went wrong, but rumour has it that there were differences between director Bala and the producers. The truth still remains unknown though.
