Music composer, singer, and Oscar award winner AR Rahman turned 52 on January 6 and wishes poured in for the Mozart of Madras. The composer’s son, AR Ameen, took to social media to wish his father and had the sweetest message for him, which made netizens go ‘awwww!’ Incidentally, father and son share the same birthday!

“Dear daddy, on your birthday, I want you to know that you are truly an inspiration, a friend and a teacher to all of us,” he wrote.

On the occasion of his birthday, the singer in a recent interview said that he feels the need to give back. “I feel the desire to give back, nurturing some of the younger generations and also spend time learning and refining many things I don’t know,” he said.

He also shared that the birthday wishes he’s been getting has been an overflow of love.

The music composer had composed for five films in 2018 namely Beyond The Clouds, Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, Sarkar, and Le Musk. He has a few other films in the pipeline including Sarvam Thaala Maayam, Kizie Aur Manny to name a few.
