Rakul Preet is all smiles now! She has wrapped up the shoot of her film NGK, directed by Selvaraghavan. Taking to social media, the actress shared her excitement at the job completed.

Sharing how the film was a learning experience for her, Rakul thanked director Selvaraghavan and her co-star Suriya Sivakumar, while also tagging Sai Pallavi. Needless to say, she awaits the madness to unfold, with her moving on to her next film – Marjaavaan in Hindi.

Said to be a political drama, NGK was supposed to release on Diwali last year along with Vijay-AR Murugadoss’ Sarkar. However, the delay forced them to reschedule its release. Launched last year, the film last Diwali along with Vijay’s Sarkar. However, the film had to miss Diwali release after Selvaraghavan fell ill and the shoot had to be stalled for a couple of weeks. The film is produced by Dream Warrier Pictures and has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film might just have an April release, sources in the trade say.

Rakul, meanwhile, has Dev with her Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru co-star Karthi Sivakumar in the pipeline which is scheduled to release on February 15. She has two Hindi movies De De Pyar De and Marjaavaan. As for Tamil, she has SK14 with Sivakarthikeyan and Venky Mama in Telugu.
