After Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot in April, she took to her Instagram to announce that the couple was expecting their first child. Instead of congratulating them, many took to trolling her for getting pregnant just 2 months after her marriage. Some even went ahead to create rumours that she was pregnant even before she married Ranbir Kapoor. Both the actors were silent on this, and now, Alia Bhatt has finally given a befitting reply.

Alia Bhatt is busy promoting her upcoming film ‘Darlings’ which is all set to release on August 5. In one such promotion, she was asked how she felt about the absurd rumours and the trolling. Giving a befitting reply, she reportedly said, “Everything a woman does is put in the headlines. Whether she has decided to become a mother, she is dating somebody new; she is going to a cricket match or on holiday. For some reason, the eyeballs are always on women’s choices.”

She then went on to add that she knows how to balance her personal and her professional life. Meanwhile, the actor is filming for Rocky or Rani ki Prem Kahani and Heart of Stone. Ranbir, who was last seen in Shamsera, is also awaiting the release of Bramhaastra, and is working on Animal.
