- Start the previous night.
Keep your outfit for the following day ironed and ready. You don’t want to be rushing early in the morning.

Early to bed early to rise makes one healthy, wealthy and wise. Although very cliched, this sentence holds to be very true. Try going to bed before 11:30 pm, ensure that you get a good 8 hours of beauty sleep.
IN THE MORNING-
WAKE UP EARLIER– Try waking up at least an hour earlier than usual. Give yourself a little extra time in the morning to get ready. This way you won’t have to rush yourself.
(Pro Tip to help you wake up- Make your alarm tone your favourite song that you like jamming to. This way, you will wake up in a happier mood.)
HYDRATE- The first thing to do as soon as you wake up, is to hydrate! Drink a glass of water and wash your face. This will shock your body into waking up.
MEDITATE- Everybody who’s anybody spends at least 15 min a day meditating. Meditation has several long term benefits, it aids in destressing the body, calming the mind and relaxes the soul. It’s is very important to spend a minimum of 30 minutes in a day (15 in the morning and 15 in the evening) in introspection. Meditation can be very hard, therefore thereare several guided meditation apps that can help such as Headspace, Calm etc..
DITCH THE CAFFEINE- Now this can be hard for all those caffeine addicts out there! But studies show that too much caffeine can lead to an increase in blood pressure, an increased risk of heart attacks, insomnia, increased anxiety and many other health issues. Instead, opt for a green tea, or hot water with lemon and honey. This will help kickstart your metabolism.
TURN UP THE MUSIC!– Playing your favourite tracks early in the morning will get you into a good mood and set the tone for the day.
SOAK IN THAT VITAMIN D- Not many people realise that exposure to sunlight between 7 am and 9 am is very beneficial to the body. It helps strengthen the immune system, improves bone health and has several other perks as well. So go for a short walk, or spend some time in your balcony.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY– Some sort of physical activity is essential to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Join an early morning Zumba class, Go to the gym, Join a yoga class, or keep it simple and take a walk around your neighbourhood or visit your nearest park. Physical activity can be fun, folks.
SHOWER– There is no clear winner in the battle between morning “showerers” and night “showerers” but showering in the morning can help energize the body and help stimulate the lymphatic system, it also helps build and focus mental energy before you leave the house for school, college or work, and lastly, it doesn’t hurt to feel clean!
