- Do Something That Scares You
No matter how old you are, you should do something that scares you. Whether that means killing a cockroach or getting an adrenaline rush, conquering our fears is always a good thing. Do it now because you can and it will make you stronger. When you’re older simple activities might scare you, but at least then you will have this great adrenaline filled memories to look back on.
- Travel Alone
Travelling alone can be daunting at first, but its one of the most liberating experiences you can have and should definitely be on your list of things to do before you turn 30. You can do what you want, when you want on your own terms. You will meet so many inspiring people, and you will have more confidence in yourself than ever before.
- Nurture a life
Giving life and taking care of it is the best thing one can do. Get a plant or a pet. It makes you more responsible and at times it can be the only creature living dependent on you. You grow with it and learn what it’s like to feel responsible for someone, even plants.
- Take a Girls’ Getaway
Not all friendships last forever. Many of them need to be nurtured. Plan a weekend getaway, get out and enjoy the days. It might not happen again for some time, but maybe a couple of days on the sand will be a lifetime memory.
- Start a Collection
The thing about collections is that they only get better with age. Figurines, souvenirs, art, coins, beach sand or anything in memory of a place you visited will be the best collection. They add cool to your home and definitely a possession to cherish.
- Challenge Your Culinary Skills
There is always room for improvement in the kitchen. In your 30s and later, there will undoubtedly come a time when you’re forced to cook, so start polishing these culinary skills now and you will be a star soon. Get those old recipes from your mom and try them out.
- Have Your Portrait Taken
You will always be beautiful, but you will never be as young as you are now. Have your portrait taken, capture your youth while you have it.
Image is just for representation.
