What made headlines apart from their sizzling chemistry on screen, is the rumoured affair that they have had for years. Though the stars have never commented on the rumours, they’ve always maintained that they are great friends. Even Nagarjuna’s gorgeous wife Amala has made several public appearances with the Bollywood star, proving that they are definitely good friends! Superstar Rajinikanth’s famous son-in-law, actor Dhanush topped headlines for his rumoured affair with Kamal Haasan’s eldest daughter Shruti Haasan. Tabloids went all out and published numerous reports on how Dhanush’s wife Aishwaryaa was miffed with the star and the lead stars of her directorial ‘3’. Reports also suggested that both the families got involved in order to clarify the tiff. However, in 2012, Shruti Haasan denied the rumours and said she had no affair with the star and that she’s great friends with Aishwaryaa Dhanush.

He was later even quoted as saying, “I had gone through enough in this relationship, and after much of thoughts invested into this I hereby declare that I am single now. I have nothing to do what so ever with Hansika and it is all the story of the past.” Rumours held that Hansika’s mother was not too keen on the relationship as the actress was slowly climbing up the success ladder. Others say Hansika was angry with Simbhu option to work with ex-girlfriend Nayanthara in Idhu Namma Aalu.
