To curb black money and corruption in the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a surprise announcement on Tuesday night. He said all 500/100 rupee notes will be scrapped with effect from midnight on Tuesday. The nation was shocked upon hearing this and many took to social media sites including celebrities. While most welcomed the decision calling it historic, there were a few who did not agree.
