The Miss Universe finale was conducted last night and our Miss India Roshmitha Harimurthy couldn’t make it to the top 13 of the pageant. The top 3 contestants that made it to the finals of the 65th Miss Universe were Miss Haiti, Miss Columbia and Miss France.
Miss France Iris Mittenaere was finally crowned Miss Universe 2017. The final question asked was what was about how they survived failure to which she answered that she has been through a series of failures in her life but she has taken this pageant to be her first opportunity to step up. Also taking a stance on the refugee crisis, she said, “In France,we want to have the most globalization that we can, we want to have the biggest exchange of people that we can.”
Miss Haiti, a survivor of the 2010 Haiti Earthquake, talked about how she faced death, survived and is now strong enough to stand in front of millions as a contestant representing Haiti.
Steve Harvey was the host and Sushmita Sen was a part of the Jury.
