One of the very few woman artistes to rule the box office, Anushka is a name to reckon with in south cinema. Especially after Arundthathee, Baahubali and Bagaamathie, she has been in great demand. A lot was expected from her in 2018 but the actress chose to skip routine heroine roles. She is said to have signed a ‘different film’ alongside Madhavan that would go on floors soon.

Rumors are that she is part of Ajith’s Pink remake in Tamil.
The glamorous and stylish actress of Tamil cinema is Regina. A fitness freak, she has been part of a few films this year. However, they ended up as an average affair in the box office. Mr Chandramouli and Silukkuvarpatti Singam featured her as heroines. However, the big success has been eluding her. She awaits the release of Venkat Prabhu’s Party next. She also has her first Hindi film, a different one called Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga.

Calling out harassment and sexist dialogues, even if it has the name of bigwigs, Parvathy received a whole lot of brickbats from ardent fans of male superstars. But she’s one headstrong woman who will not cower in fear, paving way for several other women opening up about the treatment towards women in the industry and on screen.
