According to several media reports that are making rounds actor Vijay Sethupathi has bagged a major Bollywood project with Sriram Raghavan the director of ‘Andhadhun’ at the helm. The movie has roped in actress Katrina Kaif to play the female lead. The official announcement is expected to come very soon.
The movie will mark Vijay Setupathi’s second Bollywood movie followed by the Hindi renake of Maanagaram – ‘Mumbaikar’ directed by Santhosh Shivan. For now Vijay Sethupathi is awaiting the big release of the movie Master where he will be seen playing villian against Thalapathy Vijay in ‘Master’ directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj hitting the screens worldwide on January 13th.
In an interview with a Tamil magazine, Sethupathi revealed that his role in Master was that of a purely ‘evil character’. “I play a purely evil character in Master. There’s not even a grain of goodness in my character; it’s so evil. I really enjoyed playing it,” Vijay Sethupathi he said to HT. Vijay Sethupathi played the antagonist even in Vikram Veda.
Vijay Sethupathi has a line up of films post Ka Pae Ranasingam, Master that include Kadaisi Vivasaayi, Laabam, Tughlaq Durbar among the others. He will also be seen playing the lead role in Muttiah Muralidharan’s biopic. Apart from this his fans are also eagerly waiting for Vignesh Shivan directorial film Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal that is going to feature him next to two leading ladies of south Samantha Akkineni and Nayanthara.
