TRENDING: Is Samantha unhappy with Shaakuntalam’s final output? Makers Clarify!

Samantha, after the release of Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, is awaiting the release of Shaakuntalam. The film, directed by Gunasekhar, is a Telugu mythological film based on Kalidasa’s Shaakuntalam. The film also stars Dev Mohan, Mohan Babu, Aditi Balan and Ananya Nagalla in titular roles. There have been rumours recently that the release of the film is being delayed because of Samantha’s dissatisfaction with the final output. The makers have now taken to Twitter to clarify the same.

The film is bankrolled by Neelima Guna, and she opened up about the rumours. Her note read, “This is to all the fans who’ve been tweeting asking for updates on Shakuntalam. The post-production work is going on at a brisk pace, the challenging CG complexities are being dealt with good precision as we prepare to give you a good quality product. Hence the time. At this crucial juncture, the team deserves your support and understanding, which I’m sure you will shower on us! We will put out more content and updates as and when we can. Thank you for your love.”

Meanwhile, Samantha is working on Kushi alongside Vijay Deverakonda, and Yashodha, while she awaits the release of Shaakuntalam. Recently it was also reported that Samantha Ruth Prabhu is all set to grace the Indian Film Festival Melbourne which is is all set to flag off on August 12th. According to the agenda, the Yashoda actor will meet her fans in the Capital city of the Victorian State of Australia. She will also deliver an in-conversation chat live with her audience about her journey as an actor, on August 13. She is also signed up a Hollywood project called ‘Arrangements of Love’ in addition to the Bollywood web-series Citadel, in which she is co-starring with Varun Dhawan.
