“Thin Brows Must Stop”: Shruti Haasan Talks About An Emerging Trend!

Shruti Haasan, daughter of Veteran actor Kamal Haasan, started her film career way back in 2000 with his Hey Ram. She played a minor role as Vallabhai Patel’s daughter, while she also lent her voice to the song ‘Ram Ram’ along with her father. Shruti then made her debut in 2009 with the Hindi film Luck.

She is always active on social media and keeps her followers up to date. Recently, the actress celebrated her 37th birthday. She took to Instagram to share several glimpses of her birthday bash which had her mom Sarika, boyfriend Santanu Hazarika, sister Akshara Haasan and many others in attendance. Now, the actress has posted an Instagram story – she is talking about a 2023 trend of thin brows. Following this she has posted a throwback picture of hers with a caption “We are not bringing this thin brow Shruti back – not for anything. Thin brows must stop.”

With 13 years in cinema, she has completed more than 30 projects across various languages including Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. Shruti has paired with huge actors including Suriya, Ajith, Vijay Sethupathi, Siddharth, Naga Chaitanya, Vijay, Allu Arjun, Dhanush among others. Shruti recently saw the release of her Telugu action comedy, Waltair Veerayya, which also starred Chiranjeevi, Ravi Teja and Prakash Raj. Directed by Bobby Kolli, the film received a decent response from the fans. She will next be seen in director Prashant Neel’s upcoming action thriller, Salaar, opposite Prabhas. She has appeared in films like Luck, Gabbar is Back, Behen Hogi Teri, Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji, D-DAY and Welcome Back.
