The first look of Samantha’s Yashodha is out and the first glimpse of the movie is one that is creating quite the curiosity. After Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, Samantha is awaiting the release of Shaakuntalam. Meanwhile, she is still working on Yashodha and has signed up for a few more movies.

The movie is directed by director duo Hari Shankar and Harish Narayanan. It is bankrolled by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad under the banner of Sridevi Movies. Unni Mukundan and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar are also to play pivotal roles in the film.

Yesterday, Samantha had shared that the first look was to release today at 11:07 am. As promised, Samantha shared the first look video along with the caption, “Very excited to present to you the first glimpse of our film 🙏.” The video shows Samantha sleeping, waking up to find herself in a bed. When she tried to reach out to a pigeon outside her window the camera zooms out to varied shots of building complexes then revealing the title Yashoda.

The Telugu movie is all set to release on 12th August 2022. Meanwhile we await further updates from the Yashoda team.
