Sunny Leone Is Unrecognisable In The First-Look Of Her Tamil Film!!

Sunny Leone, who has been acting and featuring in dance numbers in Bollywood, has ventured towards South films now. The actress will soon be seen in her first straight Tamil film directed by VC Vadivudayan. The project will be produced by Ponse Stephen of Steeves Corner.

Titled Veermahadevi, the film is a period war for which she has been learning how to sword fight. The film will also include 70 minutes of CGI effects by the same company who did for Baahubali and 2.0.

Actors Nasser and Navdeep are part of the cast too, with the latter playing the antagonist. The film will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi. The shooting of the film is currently underway, with the director setting aside a massive budget for it.

Period war films are aplenty down South. SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali franchise is the most popular of them, in addition to being the highest grossing Indian film ever. The film stars Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati, and Tamannaah Bhatia. Rudhramadevi, starring Anushka Shetty, is yet another female-centric period film. In the pipeline, Sundar C’s Sangamithra starring Disha Patani, Jayam Ravi, and Arya is in the works.
