It is reported that she liked her character arc in the film, plus with her superstar title, director Rajesh admits that he simply had to rope her in for the project. The film is likely to go on floors by July, with the team confirming soon.
This ‘Lady Superstar’ of Tamil Nadu has had three releases in 2017 – Dora, Aramm, and Velaikkaran. She has a slew of other projects in the pipeline too including director Siva’s Viswasam starring Ajith, Kolamaavu Kokila, Kolayuthir Kaalam, Imaikka Nodigal, and Chiranjeevi’s period drama Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.
She will also be seen in Aramm 2, the sequel to the political drama from last year that featured her in the lead. Much like the original, the sequel will look into caste and religious discrimination, produced by Kotapadi Rajesh of KJR Studios.
