Saamy Square features ‘Chiyaan’ Vikram’s return to the character after 15 years. While the original released in 2003 and featured Trisha as the female lead, this film features Keerthy Suresh. Directed by Hari, the film has mostly been shot in Chennai, Karaikudi, Delhi, Mussoorie and Nepal. Saamy Square‘s other cast members include Bobby Simha as the antagonist, comedian Soori, Prabhu, John Vijay, Ishwarya and others.
With music by Devi Sri Prasad, a lot is expected in the music department too. The film’s motion poster, that released last week, created a huge buzz on the internet. The actor is pairing up with Keerthy Suresh for the first time, with stills from their movie doing the rounds. Needless to say, Keerthy’s look in the film is a major departure from her recent Mahanati, where she played yesteryear actress Savitri.
