Nayanthara next with Premam Director!

If we think about epic love movies in the South Indian Cinema of the late 20’s we immediately think of a blockbuster movie – Premam directed by Alphonse Puthren starring Sai Pallavi, Anupama Parameswaran, Madonna Sebastian, and Nivin Pauly. This 2015 released movie was a huge hit especially for the love track between Malar played by Sai Pallavi and George David played by Nivin.

This director is now back with his next film titled Gold casting Nayanthara and Prithviraj Sukumaran on the lead produced by Supriya Menon and Listin Stephan.

Nayanthara and Prithviraj have shared the screen for a song sequence in the movie Twenty 20.

Nayanthara was last seen in her OTT hits Nizhal and Netrikan – a crime thriller where she played the role of a blind woman trying to solve the mystery of missing girls. She was widely lauded for her performance in this role. The years 2021 & 2022 look promising with a series of movies like Annaatthe, KaathuVaakula Rendu Kadhal, etc. in her pipeline. She is also said to make her digital debut with Bahubali: Before the Beginning web series. She had even produced the movie Koozhangal earlier this year.

Prithviraj joins the set of Gold after finishing his second movie – Big Daddy as a director after Lucifer. He last acted in Raavanan that released in 2010 in the Tamil Cinema.
