As the ‘Majili’ promotions begin, Samantha and Naga Chaitanya are out and about promoting their film that they have worked together in after a long time now. Their chemistry has always been appreciable on screen and fans love watching them together. Samantha also created an example for all married women down South who are career driven. She has been signing multiple films and is doing some wonderful work.

The couple has always been open about their love and life-stories; they never fail to share their experiences with their fans. In a recent interview of Famously Filmfare Telugu which was hosted by Chinmayi Sripaada, Naga Chaitanya even talked about his relationship with Samantha before they fell in love.

A visual of ‘Majili’ went viral, which is very normal – a guy kissing a girl he was in love with onscreen. However, that did not go down too well with Samantha’s fans because earlier when Samantha had an a onscreen “kissing” scene with Ram Charan in ‘Rangasthalam’, she was shamed for kissing another guy onscreen post marriage.

Now Samantha’s fans are asking the same question, “If married heroines should not kiss onscreen, then what about married heroes?”

However, during one of the promotional interviews, Samantha cleared the air about the whole “kissing” controversy. Here’s what she had to say:

“When acting for the screen, a kiss or a hug is the same thing for me. It’s just acting. Fans should understand this”. Also, she claimed that acting is acting, “Chay and I have this wonderful friendship, relationship and marriage as well. And as actors we could do whatever we want on screen.”
