As the ‘Majili’ promotions begin, Samantha and Naga Chaitanya are out and about promoting their film that they have worked together in after a long time now. Their chemistry has always been appreciable on screen and fans love watching them together. Samantha also created an example for all married women down South who are career driven. She has been signing multiple films and is doing some wonderful work.

The couple has always been open about their love and life-stories; they never fail to share their experiences with their fans. In a recent interview of Famously Filmfare Telugu which was hosted by Chinmayi Sripaada, Naga Chaitanya talked about his relationship with Samantha before they fell in love.

Chinmayi asked, “You guys have been working together ever since her first film. Did you fall in love then?”

To which Chay said, “Nah, we didn’t fall in love during the first film, although she claims she has been in love with me ever since Ye Maaya Chesave (laughs). I don’t know how far it’s true. She keeps ragging me all the time saying “I’ve been in love with you for 8 years.” When I met her first I thought, “She’s a nice girl and is fun” but we were always in touch and we were good friends. She’s hated me, she’s loved me. I’ve hated her, I’ve loved her, I’ve yelled at her, I’ve abused her, I’ve been angry on her. We’ve always discussed our work, our personal lives everything.”

He further added, “Thankfully, the universe was in our favour one fine day and everything just seemed to have worked out.”

So it is true, friendship is true love!
