Keerthy Suresh’s Next A Rural Entertainer?

Yet another village drama for Keerthy!

Keerthy Suresh is riding a wave of success in the Tamil film industry. Post-Mahanati (Nadigaiyar Thilagam in Tamil), Keerthy has been offered several films and is on a roll signing them. While she has two films in the offing – Sandakozhi 2 and Saamy Square – the actress has signed yet another rural village entertainer.

According to reports, this film stars M Sasikumar in the lead, the actor who is known for his social rural dramas such as Subramaniapuram, Kodiveeran, Poraali and others. The film is being directed by SR Prabhakaran and has been titled Kombu Vacha Singam.

Apart from this, Keerthy will also reprise her role as late actress Savitri in the NTR biopic that stars Balakrishna, NTR’s son. The film has Vidya Balan, Rakul Preet Singh, Rana Daggubati, Raashi Khanna, Manjima Mohan, and several others. Her role will be a cameo.

She was last seen in a cameo role in Sivakarthikeyan’s Seema Raja that released last week. Her other film Saamy Square is slated to hit the screens this week. Saamy Square is the sequel to blockbuster Saamy, which was one of the biggest commercial hits in Vikram’s career about 15 years ago. Apart from the two, the film also stars Aishwarya Rajesh, and Bobby Simha who plays the villain. The film has Keerthy singing a song, too, titled ‘Pudhu Metro Rail’ that went viral on social media.

She is also collaborating with actor Vijay again for AR Murugadoss’ Sarkar. The two first collaborated for Bairavaa that released last year.
