It was earlier announced that Kaala will be coming ahead of 2.0 and the film is all set to release on April 27th. The teaser was supposed to be released on March 1st but pushed to March 2nd because of the demise of Kanchi Mutt head, Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya of whom Superstar is a devotee. The teaser like Kabali seems to touch upon Dalit issues and some history of politics as it also has Ambedkar’s famous words for Dalit emancipation – Educate, Agitate. Huma Qureshi plays the female lead as Nana Patekar plays the villain. Directed by Pa.Ranjith, this is their second collaboration after the blockbuster Kabali last year!
