Director Pa.Ranjith’s ‘Kaala’, starring superstar Rajinikanth, is the most awaited movie and was expected to be released on April 27^th. However, the ongoing strike by the Tamil Film industry over rates charged by Digital Service Providers (DSP) is likely to be a hindrance in the movie’s release. Rumours about the delay in the release is spreading in the social media.

However, the film distributor of Kaala, Lyca Productions clarified on through a twitter decision regarding the postponement is yet to be finalized. Meanwhile fans of Rajinikanth and director Pa.Ranjith is disappointed about the uncertainty of the release date.

It is no wonder that fans are agitated over the postponement of the released. The combination of Pa.Ranjith and the superstar became a huge hit and it was seen during Kabaali’s success. As soon as the teaser of Kaala’ released, it went viral. It seems that fans have to wait a little while for it to hit the theatres. Kaala is not the first movie which is affected by the indefinite strike by the Film Industry. Several movies have not been released on the scheduled dates and have been put on hold for a while.
