Chekka Chivantha Vaanam is one of Mani Ratnam’s most anticipated films as of now. The film has a huge lineup of star cast with STR, Vijay Sethupathi, Aishwarya Rajesh, Arun Vijay, Dayana, Prakash Raj and Jayasudha playing pivotal characters. It is now reported that Jyothika will be playing Arvind Swamy’s pair in this film and even a wedding scene featuring these two actors was recently shot in Chennai.
Made by Madras Talkies as most Mani Ratnam films are the film is compared to Ayutha Yezhuthu wherein the separate storylines and lives of several people come together for goodwill to prevail. Touted as an action drama, the film is supposedly based on industrial pollution and waste. The cinematography is by Santhosh Sivan and music by AR Rahman.
Stunt choreographer Dhilip Subbarayan will choreograph the stunt sequences while STR is working seriously at the gym for a new look in this movie and the pictures are already doing the rounds:
