Indywood Fashion Premier League is where Fashion’s at!

Last week, Hyderabad witnessed one of the biggest competitive fashion event of the year, Indywood Fashion Premier League (IFPL) at HITEX Exhibition Centre!

Indywood Fashion Premier League paid homage to fashion in the form of a competition between teams owned by billionaires with business interests in the field of films and entertainment. Exceptional designers, glamorous national and international showstoppers and models lined up over 3 days to showcase fashion trends from different film territories.

Abhini Sohan, the Executive Director of IFPL quoted “This is one of its kind unique concepts that was inaugurated in the world of fashion. From trendy to modern, Indian ethnic to International classy designs, IFPL showcased collections from different territories and countries”. On this occasion, the Director of the Fashion show, Mrs. Lakshmi Atul, Mrs. Grand Prix: Mrs United Nations Pageant, expressed her delight and quoted “India will have never witnessed such an event where diverse fashion trends from different regions of our country shall be focussed on.”

Directed by renowned fashion choreographer, Sham Khan, the event was divided into national and international sessions. The opening segment showcase extraordinaire collection of renowned Bollywood Designer Gagan Kumar and the closing segment witnessed designer wears of Jayanthi Ballal. Well known Telugu Actor Sai Rounak and model and actor, Antra Raut walked the ramp as show stoppers for the Opening and Closing ceremony respectively. Day one of the event also witnessed collections of renowned Iranian designer Toktam Rezaee. Tollywood celebrity designer Santosh Kumar also displayed his extraordinaire collection during the event showcasing Telugu actor, Krishan Chaitanya as his show stopper.

Sponsored by Nambiar builders the Karnataka segment on Day 2 saw designer collections of Kamal Raj Manikant, International showcase of Inter National Institute of Fashion Design (INIFD), winter wear collections by Naveen Kumar and traditional ethnic collections by Akshara Bingi from The Handlooms of Telangana.

Day 3 of the event showcased exotic beachwear collections by Abeel Robin (Monsoon Night) and ravishing western wear by Ashfaque Ahmed respectively. Gorgeous models including Samhita Vinya, Vipin Mangalasseri, Seethalakshmi, and Priti Soni walked the ramp for these incredible designers.

Russian actress Camila Borghesan, and Iranian actor Ashkan Ghasemi walked the ramp as showstoppers at Indywood Fashion Premier League.
