Priya Anand’s last Kollywood hit was the film LKG alongside RJ Balaji. Her films like Vanakkam Chennai, Ethir Neechal and English Vinglish still remains in the hearts of people. The roles she opts for are usually simple, elegant but definitely not dumbed down. She likes to keep it low-key and yet knows how to shine bright. Apart from her films, Priya has never really talked much about her private life.

However, during a media interaction on Diwali, Priya talked about how she does not prefer celebrating Deepavali since her parents are in the United States. But, she further mentioned that the actress with the blessings and hope will positively be celebrating Thala Deepavali (first Deepavali together as a couple in Tamil) in 2020 with her husband hinting at her wedding news soon.

On the professional front, Priya Anand’s previous release was Dhruv Vikram’s Adhitya Varma which also stars Banita Sandhu in the lead. Apart from that, she is also doing another Tamil film titled Sumo.
