Happy Birthday: Throwback To 3 Superhit Movies Of Sadha!

Happy Birthday!

Sadha aka Sadaf Mohammed Sayed was a dream girl for every 90s kid. She made her debut with Jayam in Telugu. Sadha has acted in more than 35 films across Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. After giving major hits she then entered television and judged shows like Jodi Number One, Dhee Juniors 1 & 2, Dhee Jodi special, etc.

By wishing her a Happy Birthday we revisit three blockbuster films of Sadha in Tamil – Jayam, Anniyan and Unnale Unnale. Topping the list we have Jayam, where fans just went crazy for her Poyya Po dialogue.

 Jayam (2003)

After the success of Jayam in Telugu, director Mohan Raja remade it by the same name in Tamil starring Jayam Ravi and Sadha. Sujatha (played by Sadha) is a happy go lucky girl. Not only Ravi, but we all fell in love with Sujatha when she said Poyya Po. As required for the role Sadha had a charming and bubbly personality. Her cute dialogue delivery and the sound of her anklet still makes our hearts flutter!

Anniyan (2005)

Anniyan is a psychological thriller film directed by Shankar. Sadha Played the character of Nandhini, a medical student and also a carnatic singer. She is one of the few characters who had interactions with all three characters such as- Anniyan, Ambi and Remo. Even though it made the audience slightly disappointed when she chose Remo over Ambi. What matters most is that she learned from her mistake and ended up choosing what is right for her. She carried the girl next door vibe throughout the movie and the scene where she was trying to escape from Anniyan made us sit on the edge of the seat. Her moves and expressions in the songs can still make anyone melt for her!

Unnale Unnale (2007)

Sadha played the character of Jhansi, a very reserved and caring young woman who expects Karthik (Vinay)to stay loyal to her. Most of us can relate to her character Jhansi. She embodies every girl’s possessiveness over her man. She cannot stand him, she cannot leave him, she cannot love him, she cannot get over him. We couldn’t point out that she is acting, she nailed her performance as Jhansi  . Everyone can still remember her  cute smile and breathtaking beauty in the song Unnale Unnale!
