This blockbuster gained much traction for its quirky and satirical comedy and peppy songs with natural acting from both Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. Standing out between the two is the characterization and role of Kadhambari played by Nayanthara.
Kadhambari is a strong father’s loving daughter who loses her hearing at a young age in a bomb blast set by certain enemies of her policeman father. She succumbs to her mother in this terrible accident as well. She was very happy in her little world with her father but this happiness didn’t last ending up in her father’s death as well.
