Kollywood actress Hansika is all set for her new film, teaming up with Atharvaa Murali for the first time. According to reports, the film has been titled 100, with Atharvaa playing a cop. The actress plays a romantic interest to Atharvaa’s character, with the title being a nod to the toll-free number contact the police.

The cast also includes Harija of Eruma Saani fame in the film. Reports say that the makers are planning to release the film by the end of this year. The film, directed by Sam Anton, is bankrolled by Auraa Cinemas and has music by Sam CS of Vikram Vedha fame. The film’s shooting is likely to happen in and around Chennai and Hyderabad.

On the work front, Atharvaa will be seen in Sema Bodha Agatha releasing on June 14. He also has Boomerang and Imaikka Nodigal in the pipeline. He was last seen in the romantic comedy Gemini Ganesanum Suruli Rajanum.

As for Hansika, she recently shifted into her new home and shared an image on social media.

On the work front, Hansika, who was last seen in Gulaebaghavali with Prabhu Deva, has Thuppakki Munai in the pipeline. She also recently signed a women-centric suspense thriller. The untitled Tamil project is a departure from her usual ‘bubbly’ image. The film will be directed by debutant UR Jameel who has worked as an associate director for movies like Masala Padam, Romeo Juliet, and Bogan. This untitled film’s shooting will commence next month and the title will be announced soon.
