A little bit about the mastermind: Kamal Haasan

Initially, I had this doubt about Kamal’s hosting skills. I was confused whether or not he’d be able to pull this off. In the very first episode, he sort of looked uncomfortable too but it all requires time to look as magnificent as he is today. It is a given now that his hosting skills are marvelous but what makes him more ideal is his justification. He is not biased, he is clear, he talks what the audience wants to say and he brings the right answer out of them (contestants)using his wordplay skills be in “hallucinating” or our recent favorite “Maruthuva Mutham”.

His use of the word “Maruthuva Mutham (medical kiss)” for Aarav is currently trending. He also made Aarav tell the truth to everyone (although we saw him not wanting to tell it at all). Aarav had initially proved that he never kissed Oviya but Kamal knew just how to make him accept it because if not, a “kurumpadam” (short film) will be played to prove the point. Be it Gayathri or be it Sakthi, Kamal had the right questions to ask.

He made Julie realize the worth of the people she deteriorated her character for and he also requested the audience to only let her go without knowing how much hate was waiting for her outside. It was truly a goosebumps moment when the audience shouted, “Only for you sir.”
