JFW is Aditi’s first ever photo shoot and we are happy to present this debutante as a fashionable new girl on the block. Growing up, this debutante used to watch a lot of films as any young girl in her teens. Little did she think that she would one day shoulder a film in her debut itself. An ardent fan of the Superstar, this young actress had her dream fulfilled when she got an opportunity to meet the man in person. Not a progeny of the film fraternity, Aditi has clearly made a grand entrance and she is here to stay.

Born and raised in Chennai, this young lady professes that she was a studious girl all through her school days. “We are a very close-knit family. I have an elder brother; my mom is a homemaker and my father is employed. I was interested in acting but never thought of pursuing it. I took up Law for my graduation as I had a keen interest in this subject since an eighth grader. However, like all young students, my interests kept oscillating: right from wanting to become a doctor, dancer to an English teacher in Japan my career goals was moving targets!

Aditi has learnt classical dance from a very young age. She is also very good in sports with football being her forte. From a dancer to a football player and a law graduate, we wondered how ‘Aruvi’ happened. “By chance,” comes her reply. She further adds “I normally like doing new things all the time. So after i finished my graduation in Law,  a friend gave me a flyer with this audition call and I wanted to know how an audition worked in cinema. I randomly went for it and gave in my audition; I was so certain that I performed badly. However, later I was called for a test shoot that ran for an entire day. There was no seriousness attached to this effort; I did not particularly have any encouragement from family and friends either. I also lacked any kind of film influence. But once I clinched the role, I got the support and encouragement from all!
