Starring Vijay Sethyupathi, Kadaisi Vivasayi is a Tamil drama directed by M Manikandan. The movie also stars a n 85-year-old farmer-Nallandi. The movie is about how a last active farmer in a remote village tries to fight against a property developer. It is a purely Agriculture based film. The film gave the right kind of message about the slow process of the law and the greed of realtors.

The story is about a former gangster-turned-marine exporter from Fort Kochi who endures a series of unfortunate events and death threats to his family, forcing him to revisit his past. The movie was critically acclaimed for performances, screenplay, background score and climax.

Starring Ajith and Huma Qureshi in the lead roles, Valimai directed by H Vinoth, is a Tamil Action Thriller. Valimai is about Arjun, a police officer, who sets out on a mission to hunt down a group of violent bikers who are involved in a theft and murder. Critics appreciated Ajith for his performance, especially the Bike stunt scenes. Of course, the movie was also critiqued for having a poor screenplay. Valimai was a box-office hit in Kollywood.

Directed by Brindha Gopal, Hey Sinamika is a Tamil Romantic-Comedy starring Dulquer Salmaan, Kajal Aggarwal and Aditi Rao Hydari in prominent roles. The movie starts with Mouna (Aditi), falling in love with Yaazhan (Dulquer). After two years of their marriage she grows bitter to his constant complaining and talking and tries to get rid of him. Soon she chance upon Malarvizhi (Kajal) to devise a plan but what ensues is a complete twist of events. The movie has an all women crew, including the cinematographer and editor. The movie was reviewed to be a fun one-time watch.

Starring Vishnu Vishal, Reba Monica John, Manjima Mohan, Raiza, and Gautam in prominent roles, FIR is an Action Thriller, directed by Manu Anand. The movie is about a young man who gets entangled in a terrorism case, and becomes evil in the eyes of the media and consequently the people. How he changes this perception, forms the rest of the story. The film had good editing and background score which kept the audience hooked from start to end.

Directed by Rahul Nair, this series stars Vihaan Samat in an English comedy-drama. The series is a coming-of-age comedy about Ray, an awkward young adult navigating through his adulthood. Following his inner voice, ‘Wiz’, Ray embarks on his journey to understand if he wants sex, love, or a relationship. The series was loved by many youngsters as it was a real-time portrayal of the confusion teenagers go through.

Bheemla Nayak:
A remake of Ayyapanum Koshiyum, Bheemla Nayak is a Telugu Action Drama, starring Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubatti. Directed by Saagar K Chandra, Pawan Kalyan reprised the role of Biju Menon, while Rana reprised the role of Prithviraj Sukumaran. Police officer Bheemla is an upright man who always strives to do the right thing. Things change when a retired army havildar, Danny, settles in his village and the two egos clash. The movie was not as good as the original, but it was a success amidst the Telugu Audience.
