Suriya as the rugged cop and Jyo as the strong independent urban lady, playing teacher and later falling in love with the protective cop was something all of us can relate to! She was shy during romance, strong during conflicts and displayed every emotion beautifully.

Her performance was praised so much that Rajini himself was prompted to say he was absolutely shocked and delighted to see how talented Jyo is.
