An iconic star in Tamil and Telugu cinema, Saroja Devi had acted with MGR, Sivaji Ganesan, Gemini Ganesan, NTR among others. Reports say that Shalini Pandey of Arjun Reddy fame is playing Sowcar Janaki in the biopic.
