Owing to the huge emphasis on the graphic VFXs of 2.0, the movie has yet again be delayed from release. The makers of the movie confirmed that though they had originally set the date as April 27 for release, now Kaala has switched to its place and will be releasing April 27 and 2.0 will release probably during Independence Day or Diwali later in the year.

It is no doubt that Superstar’s upcoming film 2.0 is going to be the biggest blockbuster of this year. Directed by Shankar this is a sci-fi film and sequel to the 2010 release Endhiran wherein Rajinikanth played a scientist called Chitti Babu. Starring Amy Jackson in the female lead and Akshay Kumar said to play a negative role, the film is sparing nothing when it comes to budget and is probably one of the most expensive films ever made in India! Akshay plays a scientist who turns into a bird-man after an experiment goes awry.
