He is currently in Alabama with SRK shooting for the film, with the picture of them doing the rounds. Visibly, they all appear to be in a celebratory mood.
Madhavan will collaborating with Rai for the third time, previously being Tanu Weds Manu and Tanu Weds Manu 2. While there is no information about Maddy’s role, SRK will be seen playing the role of a vertically challenged man in the film who is a huge Bollywood fanatic. The film also stars Katrina Kaif, who will be playing an actress and bride to Abhay Deol. She had shared her look as a Bengali bride recently on Instagram.
The film also stars Anushka Sharma and is said to be reportedly playing the role of a differently-abled woman.
The film will be a comedy film, written by Himanshu Sharma, a longtime associate of Rai. Music is by JAM8, Badshah, Tanishk Bagchi, and Ajay Atul. Apart from the three leads, Tigmanshu Dhulia will be seen essaying a crucial role. Salman Khan, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Kajol, Alia Bhatt, Karisma Kapoor, and Juhi Chawla will reportedly be seen in special roles, playing themselves. Late actress Sridevi was supposed to have a cameo too but will now be replaced by her contemporary, Madhuri Dixit Nene.
The film, bankrolled by Red Chillies Entertainment and Colour Yellow Productions, is slated for a 21 December, 2018 release.
