Chennai Super Kings or CSK is one of the most loved teams from the Indian Premiere League also known as the IPL, a tournament for cricket. The love is either for Chennai, or for its team Captain MS Dhoni fondly known as Thala Dhoni by the Chennaiites. Dhoni’s helicopter shots and his finishing is the most loved and that’s what people most come to watch. Last night was the last match CSK would be seen playing in its home ground and hence, the crowd was upto 23,000 last night at the Chepauk stadium.
People cheered for their thala and their favourite team but in vain. The team lost the game and has to now play the eliminations round in Vishakapatnam. However, since this would be the last match of IPL in Chennai’s stadium, many made sure they took this opportunity to watch the game live. Amidst thousands of people, few celebrities were spotted enjoying the game too.
