Yashika Anand Appears in Court, Requests To Dismiss Arrest Warrant!

Earlier, A Chengalpattu court on Thursday, 23rd March 2023, issued an arrest warrant to actress Yashika Anand in a 2021 accident case in which one of her friends died on the spot. The judge had ordered the actress to appear in person on March 21, 2023, for the hearing. But, she did not appear, due to this, the court has issued a warrant against actress Yashika. The police were ordered to take her into custody if she does not appear in person before the court on April 25th.

Yashika Anand has finally appeared in court on March 27 for her 2021 accident case. Meanwhile, the case registered by the Mahabalipuram police is going on in the Chengalpattu Combined Court. Failing to appear before court several times, the court issued an arrest warrant. Following the warrant, Yashika Anand appeared before the court on March 27 to submit her statement on the case and requested the court to dismiss the arrest warrant.

Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuththu, Bigg Boss Tamil Season 2 fame Yashika Anand met with an accident on July 24, 2021 around 11.30 pm, near Sulerikadu on ECR when they were returning to Chennai from Mahabalipuram.  Valli Chetty Bhavani, one of her friends, died on the spot. Onlookers reportedly said that her car was speeding and lost control, thus causing the crash. After the accident she suffered from multiple fractures and recovered after a few surgeries. According to the police, since Yashika was at the wheel at the time of the accident, a case was booked under 3 sections, including IPC Section 304 A (causing death by negligence).
