Recently, actress/politician Nagma visited her costar Rajinikanth at his residence. The last time we saw them together was in 1995 when their movie Baasha was released. Baasha was one of the biggest Tamil hits, which defined Tamil cinema. When both the stars met after a long time, it sparked a bunch of rumors on whether Nagma wanted to recruit the Superstar into politics.

While Rajinikanth has so far stayed only in the cinema industry, it is a known fact that with him in the politics game, tides will be turned. Rajinikanth’s fan base and influence knows no bounds. “If he comes to politics he will be very successful and he will be very good,” reports Times of India.

While these rumors have been going on, Nagma made it clear that her visits were purely for personal purposes. According to the actress, “I wish Rajinikanth enters politics and I’m sure he will be successful in it. But to be clear, I didn’t meet him for political reasons, it was a friendly discussion.” Thus stated reports on Sify.
