In a recent interview with an entertainment website, Vignesh shivan opened up about his wedding with Nayanthara and how they have fixed several wedding days for the couple. On a funny note, Vignesh Shivan said that he and Nayanthara have apparently gotten married about 22 times according to media reports.
He said that they are in a happy place in their relationship right now and will start thinking about marriage when they are bored of dating life.
“Rumours about wedding keep coming up from time to time. We both have professional goals to achieve. We cannot think about marriage before that. Also, we are happy with the way things are, right now.” he said.
On the professional front, it has been reported that the film Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal will be directed by Nayanthara’s beau and filmmaker, Vignesh Shivan, and has been titled “Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal”. Lalit Kumar’s 7 Screen Studios is set to produce the film and Anirudh Ravichander is to be roped in as the music composer. It would be a huge delight for Samantha and Nayanthara fans since they will be sharing the big screen for the first time. As reported earlier, Vignesh Shivan and Vijay Sethupathi got together a few days back to discuss the film.
Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara teamed up earlier in the 2015 hit “Naanum Rowdy Dhaan” which was also written and directed by Vignesh Shivan himself. The Tamil film was later dubbed into Telugu as “Nenu Rowdy Ne”. Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha also worked with each other on the 2019 film “Super Deluxe” though they did not share screen time together.
Apart from Kaathuvaakkula Rendu Kadhal starring Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Samantha Akkineni, he is also reportedly directing Sivakarthikeyan for his next. Whereas, Nayanthara is on top of her game today. From doing a confident beauty campaign with Bollywood star Katrina Kaif to doing some daring roles in her upcoming film Netri Kann, the actress is an inspiration today. Produced by Ishari Ganesh who also produced LKG, Mookuthi Amman is a film written and directed by RJ Balaji. The film sees Nayanthara in the role of Mookuthi Amman and the first look has created a lot of curiosity.
