WATCH: This Throwback Video Of Nayanthara’s Adorable Gesture To An Elderly Woman Is Winning The Internet!

And her protective beau right next to her!

The film industry has been evolving over the years. With great concepts, stories, and roles coming forth, there seems to be a lot of scope for South Indian cinema to get even better as years come by. But, with misogyny and male-dominance, it is scary to see what kind of roles actresses would have to fight for. Apart from being just an object, an arrogant boss or a mere glamourous, irrelevant role to the storyline, there are very few roles that show women to be strong and empowered.Very few actresses today are fighting for their rights in the industry while most have just given up and do what role gets them recognised. One among them is Nayanthara who is today fondly known as the Lady Superstar.

The actress has recently been in news as her throwback video went viral on the internet today. In the video we get to see Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan visiting a temple in Tamil Nadu and her beau seems to be very protective of her. An elderly woman who seems to be a fan of the actress wanted to greet her and went ahead to touch her arm to gain her attention. A confused Nayan at the beginning when she saw the lady, greeted her back and even answered her question and went ahead into the Temple. Watch it:

Nayanthara is on top of her game today. From doing a confident beauty campaign with Bollywood star Katrina Kaif to doing some daring roles in her upcoming film Netri Kann, the actress is an inspiration today. Produced by Ishari Ganesh who also produced LKG, Mookuthi Amman is a film written and directed by RJ Balaji. The film sees Nayanthara in the role of Mookuthi Amman and the first look has created a lot of curiosity.

Talking about Nayanthara’s role in the film, RJ Balaji said, “Just like how Ajith sir’s presence helped in conveying the strong message to the society in #NerkondaPaarvai, a big star like #Nayanthara’s presence in #MookuthiAmman would help us in getting a good reach.”

Apart from that, Nayanthara is a part of Rajinikanth’s Annathae, she has Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal also starring Samantha Akkineni and Vijay Sethupathi. She also has Netri Kann and Annathae.
