The writer who hit Bollywood with this banger movie Delhi Belly is making comeback with his amazing new work – Mama’s boys!!  As a new writer Akshat touched many themes including internet comedy in his movie – Delhi Belly and he is inculcating the same in his new video.

The writer who has been MIA ever since Delhi Belly’s release, is currently working on Kala Kanti with Saif Ali Khan, and it will be his first feature film as a director.

While we await his next big project, we got a quick peek into what Akshat can deliver as a writer director!  The YouTube film is a take on the characters from Mahabharata (The Pandavas, Draupadi, Kunti and Shakuni mama) are seen in a contemporary urban setting!!

In this setting, the character of Arjun (Amol Parashar) brings Draupadi home (Aditi Rao Hydari) and introduces her to his mother Kunti played by (Neena Gupta).

The short films revolves around what Arjun fights for is rightfully his, it's a comic satire that does not crack any jokes you haven't heard before. Basically, Akshat is  trying to have fun with the cast while producing the internet comedy film! The absolutely brilliant cast will keep you gripped to your seats until the end of the short film.

We can't imagine what Akshat's feature film will be like, for now Mama's boys is breaking the internet!
