WATCH: Aishwarya Rajesh Reveals Her Lock-down Routine as She Dazzles in Festive Wear For JFW October!

Her on-screen roles have been delightfully robust, showcasing a lovingly welcomed anti-thesis of the stereotypical heroine. When choosing to break free from clichés, disciplining one’s talent into (what Aishwarya defines as) “fitting the role” is what it takes to stay in the film industry; the entry to it is barred by conventional expectations that are hard-hitting.

This year, the Covid-19 outbreak ensured Aishwarya was away from the camera for six months until she turned cover girl for our October issue. After months of staying indoors Aishwarya got dolled up in four beautiful grand festive outfits from The Pride Shop.  Now with things slowly moving towards the new normal, she’s back to being busier than ever, juggling between her shoots and promotions for her upcoming film.

“Feels like going back to school after a long break. It is a nice feeling though, to be back shooting,” she says excitedly. “We are on screen after six months and it will take at least a couple of days to settle. The first day for me felt different. I wasn’t getting my shots right. But over the day, I got better and I’m sure tomorrow will be great!”

For her first look Aishwarya is all grace and glory up wearing a dramatic pastel-green gown with ruffles and layers that brings out the playful and beautiful personality in her!

For her next look she is seen covered in pretty pink blooms, as she sports a breezy blush-and-gold lehenga that was made for celebrations. She poses with such ease and talks about her experience in the film industry.

“I’m a foodie. I love food” says Aiswarya as she reveals her top three picks of her favorite comfort food as she gets ready for her next look. Aishwarya next adorns an embellished silver and gold saree. A timeless piece that can see you through the festive season and celebrations in the years to come!

“Every time before a movie releases, it is nerve-wracking, really! No matter how good the content is you can never really predict if it’ll do well. Although I was sure about movies like Kanna and Kaaka Muttai before the release, only after seeing the audience’s response did we get breathe relief,” discloses Aishwarya. “If the reviews and responses are good only then the mood for celebration begins. Generally, I celebrate my movie success more than festivals,” she smiles. Here Aishwarya dances to the beats of a fun, festive, maroon mirrored lehenga! The versatility and the jazz of mirror work has helped it become a favourite in most millennial wardrobes.
