‘Vikram Vedha’ Girl Shraddha Srinath Signs Another Tamil Film!

Actress Shraddha Srinath confirms that she will be playing the female lead in actor Arulnithi Tamilarasu’s upcoming film. The film will be directed by debutant Barath Neelakantan and it’s rumoured to be a psychological thriller. Enamored by her performance in U-turn and Vikram Vedha, Barath feels that Shraddha will be a perfect fit.

Hints have been dropped that she will be playing the role of an author with an aura of alluring mystery and intriguing complexity. The movie will be produced by SP cinemas and shooting is said to have already begun.

Shraddha has also signed up for yet another film with Madhavan. She started shooting for the film last month. Directed by Dhilip Kumar, the film will be about two people who have a mature outlook and how their love story comes together by the simple things in life. Music composer Ghibran is on board, so is art director Ajayan Chalissery. The film has been titled Maara.

On the work front, Shraddha has Hindi film Milan Talkies in the pipeline. In an interview with JFW, the actress even spoke about what it was like to romance Madhavan on screen.

“I remember when I got selected for Vikram Vedha, I was excited about meeting Maddy for the first time and working with such a big star. This time it’s more like going back to that comfort zone and excited about picking things where we had left. It feels really nice,” she said.
