She will be seen pairing up with director Tharun Bhascar who is all set to don the role of a hero for the first time. Director Tharun won laurels for his wonderful film ‘Pelli Chupulu’ which had Vijay Deverakonda in a pivotal role. However, the news is that Vijay will be the producer of this film and he wanted Vani to be the lead in this film too.
Vani said, “It is Vijay’s first production, which will have Tharun and me in the lead. Sameer, a short filmmaker from Chennai, will be directing the film. It is a fun subject which falls in a different genre. We are almost done with the shoot.” She further added, “Most of the people from the team were Tamilians. I had a few who helped with the dialogues. I used to memorise my lines just before the shoot.”
She said that working with Tharun as an actor has been a great experience too adding that he made her feel as comfortable as possible.
Vani Bhojan’s television series ‘Deivamagal’ was very successful and the actress received her recognition from the same. On the other hand, Vijay Deverakonda is awaiting the release of ‘Dear Comrade’ and has few other films in his kitty.
