Mersal has not released yet but is already making the buzz for everyone with its news every day. From becoming the first movie to get an emoji in Twitter to getting their title trademarked, Mersal is repeatedly proving it’s more than an ordinary film. Incidentally, Vijay character is also more than an ordinary character in the film, he plays a magician and all the three magicians who trained him have been telling he is an amazing magician. One of the magicians who was part of the movie Raman shares his experience working with Vijay and the Mersal team in a recent interview with Behindwoods.

Raman tells working in the film was one of the best experiences in his career. The Mersal team found him through an online video in which he did a death-defying trick.

He repeatedly tells that Vijay has done an amazing job in the movie and that we will really enjoy his portions as a magician. Although he did not reveal how long we will see Vijay in this avatar and what are the special things to expect, he did talk about his experience with Vijay. “Vijay is a quick learner and he has given his best with style and cool. Tricks that will take months to be mastered by a magician was done by Vijay in weeks, he is dazzling in the movie”.

The film’s magician portion was shot in various locations that include, Macedonia, Poland, and Chennai. During breaks, Raman says he plays badminton with Vijay and that he could not win a single match against him. Like all of us, Raman has also become a fan of Vijay’s coolness, “He can pull off anything with his confidence. He has a very cool look. And the movie’s stylist was fabulous with him”.
